Assessment

Post Test Club: (Persons infected and affected)

We operate a support group for persons who have been recently diagnosed and for those who have been living with the virus for some time as well as for individuals affected by HIV.

Psychosocial Support

We provide counselling, spiritual support, support to enable disclosure, medication adherence and Nutritional Support, Financial Assistance, Provision of Hampers and Hamper Distribution, transportation costs, educational supplies and needs of clients children, home visits, housing support

Asylum Programme

Since 2006 ComTALK has been administering an Asylum Programme for Persons Living with HIV in collaboration with our partners in the US, UK and the Netherlands. To date we have successfully managed the relocation of sixteen individuals

Grant and Proposal Writing

We provide assistance to other NGOs in developing proposals for grant funding. We can also assist in project implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects

Beneficiaries

  • The principal beneficiaries of ComTALK include male and female adults living with HIV, their families affected and adolescents and youth living with HIV. We also work with marginalised and vulnerable youth at risk of HIV and Gender-based violence.

  • The adolescents/orphans and abandoned children living with HIV in Trinidad and Tobago. We also work with marginalized and vulnerable youth at risk of HIV and gender-based violence.

  • We work throughout Trinidad and Tobago and welcome all persons regardless of sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, class, gender and age.
